Kevin Chappell, the leader at the Valero Texas Open, was playing the par-4 10th. And on his approach shot, the Golf Channel’s microphone either got real close or someone in the truck turned up the volume.
Because for a straight coverage feed (and not some gimmicky protracer-like clip), this is one of the loudest whooshes you’ll ever hear.

Aside from the booming sound, Chappell’s shot was also boom! worthy, setting himself up for a tap-in birdie to go to 11-under.
